The 2023 Collaboration Forum included some exciting firsts. 

  • It was our first Collaboration Forum hosted in Denver, CO, USA by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.
  • We held our first Innovation Day hosted by OPG. Innovation Day will be a staple at future Collaboration Forums. It provides an opportunity for industry leaders to explore innovations in all their forms, including robotic inspections, AI driven searching, water and air filled hubs, and more. 

The Collaboration Forum allowed industry leaders to communicate and learn from each other allowing them to better maintain and carry out operations at their facilities. The presentations and discussions gave all members a better understanding of what the future looks like for HRI and how we will achieve it. Topics included:

  • Updates from researchers using HRI data to address industry issues and perform research.
  • Members shared information about their own work using HRI data.
  • The HRI Vice Presidents shared highlights of activities performed over the year to advance the benefits of HRI.
  • Members discussed the priorities and future of HRI and how to achieve goals.
